ABOUT THE ARTIST
My Story.
When I was a child I would wait for my parents to come home from work at a museum. I participated in their art programs while surrounded by some of the greatest works in history. As an adult, I worked as a circuit engineer at AT&T but longed to find my own creative voice. I took classes from master artists and made jewelry and dolls before I was motivated to make women’s clothing. The vision for my first piece was motivated by clothes I would see, but then I’d wonder, “What would that look like if I made it?” Today you can see the answer to that question in the Gallery.
What I Do.
I am a chemist as much as I am a designer. By changing the PH balance of wool I create a unique texture that can be comfortably coupled with any genuine fabric, such as silk. My designs are 50% art and 50% science.
My Services.
I have a collection of ARTRAGES pieces for you to choose from or we can collaborate on a piece (or two) just for you.
